The Arts Center of the BA Cultural Communication Sector presents a concert by the BA Orchestra led by Maestro Nair Nagy, as part of the activities of the Eighteenth Summer Festival.

The concert, which will be held on the open stage at the Library of Alexandria, at nine o’clock next Wednesday, includes excerpts from the most famous international musicals.

Solistat will participate in the ceremony: Jacqueline Rafik (Soprano), Dina Iskander (Soprano), Hisham El Gendy (Tenor), Elhami Amin (Baritone.

The eighteenth session of the International Summer Festival, which continues until August 29, was dedicated to the late performing artist Mahmoud Reda, who passed away last July.

The festival hosts a number of emerging names such as: Fouad, Munib, and the Michel Rawd team. In a cinematic context, the “Sunday Cinema” program presents a lecture entitled: “The Role of the Film Director” by director Adel Adeeb, in addition to the workshop “Low Costs of Film Industry” presented by director Ahmed Rashwan, and the festival also hosts stand up comedy by Mohamed Helmy, and the “Big Night” show presented by Fabrica Band, and on the occasion of the Hijri New Year, the festival organizes a party for the chanter of Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Tohamy. At the end of the week, the festival will host for the first time the artist Mohamed Al-Sharnoubi in a distinguished concert.

The activities of the second week are varied, as the festival receives the “Hi Dam” team and the Meena team, as well as the Jihad Omran project, “Riverwoodo”, the “Andromeda” team, and the artist Nuran Abu Talib. Besides the renewed meeting with the great artist Ali Al-Hajjar.

The festival also presents a cinematic show under the title: “Films on the Margins” and a meeting with director Bassam Mortada, in addition to a dance show by the Medhat Fawzi Center for Stick Arts in Malawi. The conclusion comes with a concert by the Alexandrian star Mustafa Amar.
