Withdrew from Torpet: – It was a mental battle

Interpreter and translator Sulekha Geele (36) had to leave the Farm, when she lost to business manager Grethe Enlid (49) in sawing in Sunday’s episode.

When Geele was told by host Mads Hansen (37) that the adventure was not necessarily over, she was motivated to take on Torpet life.

The stay at the small homestead Damstua was short-lived, however, when Geele chose to retire in Monday’s episode.

See why Sulekha Geele chose to withdraw from Torpet in the video at the top of the case.

Mental kamp

When TV 2 calls Geele shortly after the Torpet exit, she tells about a different life at Torpet than what she experienced at the Farm.

– My soul could not stand it any longer. I need wild things to be able to do well. There is no point in torturing oneself. I had a mental battle inside the Farm – should I take another? No, I did not want to, she says.

– I delivered, and was myself for better or worse. I took the crown with me to Torpet, and further out. I got homesick too, so now I look forward to meeting family and friends.

Before Geele left the Farm, she and Heidi Lereng (24) an agreement that Geele would return from Torpet, and that Lereng should run away with the victory.

– What do you think about the promise you made?

– Yes, I promised that I would fight back, but I was not inspired anymore. I told Heidi that I hope she wins the Farm. She must win. I do not imagine that anyone else will do it but her, she says.

Was surprised

Geele felt well received by director and photographer Mohammed Sarmadawy (27), teacher Daniel Godø (28) and emergency driver Nils Kvalvik (40). Nevertheless, she was surprised by several things during her stay.

The Norwegian-Somali had particularly good contact with Godø, who received her well – and who stated that he was malnourished by love in Geele’s lap.

– It was love at first sight between me and Daniel. He is a gentleman and we got a very special chemistry. I love his aura, she says in Sunday’s episode.

Geele says that Torpet was what she needed for a positive ending, and that she felt calm and harmony when she came to Torpet.

But despite the warm welcome and the impeccably good atmosphere, there were other factors that made life difficult for her.

– I had a very good time at Torpet, but the workload was more than at Farmen, and that surprised me. There was more work on each person. I thought Torpet was going to be superchill, but that was not true at all. I felt like I was going from one refugee camp to another, she says.

New reality wish

This is not the first time Geele has been on the TV screen. In 2006, she was in the very first season of Top Model Norway.

Now she has a new reality wish.

– I hope I can join Farmen Kjendis next year. I feel like I’ve done my job here.

Even though it was only one day at Torpet for Geele, she does not regret the participation.

– I feel neither loss nor sadness. I came in as a warrior and went out as a warrior. I’m proud of myself, she says.

– Raw strong

Until a new participant from Farmen enters Torpet, Sarmadawy, Godø and Kvalvik will now manage the homestead.

Geele believes the trio will protect their territory and support each other.

– Everyone is mentally and physically strong.

– Who do you think has the best chance of fighting their way into the Farm?

– Nils is raw strong. He was kicked by a cow, and kicked back. But he is the same, so he tolerated it well. Mohammed is very mentally strong, and Daniel is both. I think everyone has a good chance of getting into the Farm, she concludes.

See Torpet Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday whenever you want TV 2 Play.

Also watch Farmen on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays on TV 2 and whenever you want TV 2 Play.
