Withdrawal of the AFPs: study shows the behavior of the administrators’ web pages in the process

Modelo and Provida were where the most affectations were detected, according to a study prepared by the Movizzon technology company.

While the AFPs are already beginning to pay the pension funds, new information is emerging on how the different digital platforms of the administrators behaved when the process began.

According to the result of a study Habitat and Capital remained stable throughout the day, while Planvital and Cuprum, some intermittencies were detected in the middle of the day on Thursday, July 30.

The report was prepared by the technology company Movizzon, where the measurement was done through an automated platform through which robots executed a measurement flow from physical devices, connected to different internet operators, just as a person would.

In this way, it was sought to measure the real conditions in which users faced the web pages or Apps of the institutions. The study also measured the response time of the different administrators while people performed the digital process.

According to the report, the results in this area were uneven among the different companies. The slowest were Modelo and Provida where they experienced a substantial increase in the loading time of their platform starting at 6 AM. In the specific case of Provida, it had the highest response time, being approximately 10 times slower than the better-performing AFPs.

“This process meant an unprecedented effort for the different companies and in general terms we see that the performance of the AFP platforms in Chile was very uneven. In this sense, our study was very objective, since the measurements were made by robots and The conclusion was that there were better prepared AFPs and others where we see important opportunities for improvement, “said Hismael Alayo, Movizzon’s Business Manager.

Among the conclusions of the study, the technical strategies that were adopted such as Provida’s virtual queue were highlighted, which, while protecting the site from falls, affected the quality of the user experience since on average more than 1 million had to be expected of person before accessing.
