The Judiciary announced this Sunday that it will implement the “easy process” so that the withholding of funds withdrawn from the AFPs can be carried out, for those who maintain alimony debts.
Through a statement, The Judiciary informed that it will facilitate the procedures to retain 10% of alimony debtors, once the law comes into effect (when it is published in the official newspaper, which would be this Tuesday).
“The requests for liquidation for pensions owed for the purposes of withholding 10% of the AFP, they must be carried out in the current Family case, that is, where compliance is being processed “, they indicated in a brief statement.
According to figures from the Judiciary, Some 70 thousand children in Chile do not receive monthly alimony set by the courts, those who could benefit from the withholding of the withdrawal of 10% of the pension funds.
According to the Government, the AFPs are expected to open the process on Wednesday or Thursday so that people can withdraw 10% of their pension funds.
