A fair “anti-Covid standards”
It is in complete safety that visitors will be able to go, between September 4 and 13 to this 2020 fair-exhibition. In liaison with the services of the prefecture for months, the organizers apply the “health standards as strictly as possible” regulatory “and “in compliance with a health protocol validated by the authorities”.

Cleaning will be reinforced everywhere and disinfection of “contact surfaces” (like handrails and handles) will be common. All the teams at the fair have been trained to enforce barrier gestures (starting with wearing a mask) by visitors and exhibitors. A procedure has been put in place for wine tasting (individual glass) as well as for take-out (picnic areas to avoid eating in the aisles).
For restaurants, a online booking is offered to manage the flow of people in advance and avoid queues at places not equipped for this.

5,000 people maximum and visitor tracking
This Rouen international fair is subject to the same health rules as a shopping center. Therefore the maximum tonnage “at a time T” is 5000 people. The organizers therefore called on a specialized company, which with the help of cameras and software (IMF system as instantaneous maximum attendance) is capable of calculate in real time the number of people present on the site (fair staff, exhibitors and visitors).
In case of high attendance, the organizers will be able to make visitors wait a while before entering the site.

In order to allow the ARS (regional health agency) to find (trace) people who have been in contact with a case of Covid-19, visitors to the Rouen international fair will be invited, via a flash code to scan, to fill out a form to give their identity and their telephone number or an address. If a visitor does not have a smartphone, he can fill out a paper form with a receptionist.

Tokyo in the spotlight
In addition to the “merchant” stands, the animation part of the Rouen fair-expo 2020 edition is on the theme of Tokyo and the culture and traditions of Japan.
In a space (where there will be no more than 500 people at a time) an exhibition will present the Tokyo yesterday and today.
In order to rejuvenate attendance at the Roue international fair, and to attract a new audience, activities on a “Japan” theme are offered in partnership with the Rouen association “Chibi Rouen”. Mangas, cosplay, video games, karaoke, cartoonists and demos : the program is rich and complete.
