Sony is rolling out a new application that allows you to stream PS5 games to your PS4. An ideal solution if you want to play on your PS5, but the TV is busy.
Even if you have a PS5, it can be a smart idea to keep your PS4. By installing it in another room, you can still play your PS5 games when the television is busy. This is possible thanks to a “PS5 Remote Play” application that is currently being rolled out for PS4 users, it reports press-start.com.
It is no surprise that the application was coming. That was already announced a few weeks ago. Sony wants to use this to help households that have to share a television. Still, it doesn’t seem to be a perfect solution. For example, you have to use the “outdated” DualShock 4 controller instead of the DualSense. Also, you cannot use PS5 Game Boost when streaming PS4 games in this way.
When using the functionality, it is obviously a good idea to connect both your PS4 and PS5 wired to the network to keep lag to a minimum.
