Two people were killed and 6 others were wounded in a shooting, Saturday, in a home in a suburb of the American city of Atlanta, where more than 100 teenagers gathered at a party.
“Investigators were aware of what happened at the Douglasville home,” the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement posted on social media Sunday morning.
No suspects had been arrested as of Sunday morning, and it was not clear if more than one person had carried out the shooting.
“We know there was a house party attended by more than 100 teenagers. A standoff occurred in which 2 people were killed and 6 injured by gunfire. Information is very limited at this time,” the statement reads.
Douglasville is located just over 20 miles (32 km) west of Atlanta, the capital of the US state of Georgia.
