The Saudi Handball Federation announced on Monday evening that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the “Super Globe 2022” World Club Handball Championship for the third consecutive time.
The World Club Handball Championship “Super Globe 2022” will be held from 18 to 23 October 2022 in Dammam, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Sports and in coordination with the Saudi Handball Federation.
This 15th edition of the tournament is the largest in terms of the number of participating clubs “12 teams” since the tournament was launched in 1997.
The tournament will be held with the participation of 12 clubs, namely “Barcelona, the Spanish champion of Europe and the most crowned champion” five times “, the German team Magdeburg” the title holder “, Kuwait Kuwait” the champion of Asian continent “, Al-Ahly of Egypt” the champion of the African continent “, and the Brazilian Taobati” the champion of South and Central America “Minesteros (Champion of North America and the Caribbean), University of Sydney Australia (Champion of Oceania), Kielce of Poland (Candidate of the International Handball Federation 1), Benfica of Portugal (Champion of the International Handball Federation 2), Esperance of Tunisia (Champion of the Arabs) and the clubs Mudar and Al Khaleej of the Kingdom of Arabia Saudi.
