With the iPhone 16, Apple enters the era of generative AI

On Monday, October 9, the Apple group unveiled the iPhone 16, whose Pro versions, the most expensive, are enriched with new AI features, already detailed in June during the WWDC conference and called Apple Intelligence. On the hardware side, the new iPhones take up the design of the iPhone 15. The screen diagonal increases slightly on the Pro versions, with thinner borders. A new physical button to control the camera also appears. The camera remains identical, with a 48 MP main module. This is associated with a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor for the classic versions. And with a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 12 MP telephoto lens for the Pro versions. Under the hood, the iPhone will run on the new A18 and A18 Pro chips that Apple promises to be faster and more efficient than the previous ones.
