The head of the parliamentary health committee, Representative Bilal Abdullah, confirmed that “the coronavirus figures were not surprising and the numbers were expected to rise”.
In an interview with “Voice of Lebanon 100.5”, Abdullah said: “So far, the numbers pose no threat.”
And he announced that “the French state has provided modified vaccines”, adding: “To date there are no instructions to administer more than 4 doses of vaccine, and what is needed are personal procedures”.
He stressed “the need to stay away from large gatherings and wear masks.”
Regarding politics, Abdullah said: “What is needed is to intensify the dialogue between the parties”, saying: “I have no information on the possibility of inviting President Berri to a session on Thursday”.
