With the image of washing clothes, an Iranian artist warns Khamenei of Saddam’s fate

Iranian artist Friars Arabnia has warned Iranian leader Ali Khamenei not to meet the fate of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, who has been detained until his execution.

Arabniya posted a photo of the former Iraqi president washing his clothes after his arrest on his Instagram page.

“I will tell you my conscience,” he wrote, “whether or not you take my advice.”

colleague’s arrest

The Iranian artist’s publication came after her colleague, the famous actress and women’s rights activist, Tranah Ali Dosti, was arrested on Saturday in Iran amid the protest movement, which entered its fourth month.

The Iranian actress, known for her roles in several films by director Asghar Farhadi, has repeatedly announced her support on Instagram for the demonstrations that erupted after the death of 22-year-old Iranian Kurdish Mahsa Amini on September 16 after her arrest in Tehran by police morale with the accusation of not respecting the strict dress code in Iran.

Tasnim News Agency said, “Tranh Ali Dosti was arrested due to her recent actions when she published false information and content and incited chaos,” without providing details of her whereabouts.

sentence of the death penalty

On Dec. 8, the actress sued authorities for executing Mohsen Shakari by hanging, after being convicted of “militia,” and wrote on Instagram, “Any international organization monitoring this bloodbath without responding is a disgrace to humanity”.

Artists arrested

The authorities have arrested several Iranian cinema figures even before the current wave of protests, such as directors Muhammad Rasoulof and Jaafar Panahi, who are still detained.

Since mid-September, thousands of Iranians and about 40 foreigners have been arrested and more than 2,000 people have been indicted in connection with the protests, according to judicial authorities. Two people, aged twenty-three, were executed in connection with these protests.
