With the help of AI, I discovered what these celebrities would look like without plastic surgery

Hi ! My name is Hidrėlėy and I am a collaborator of Bored Panda. Aging is a very scary subject for many. I picked a few celebrities and used artificial intelligence (AI) and my editing skills to see what they would look like if they had never had plastic surgery. The results are quite interesting and fun to see.

I started this project by researching the celebrities who have had the most plastic surgeries. Then I studied other people in similar age groups to see what they should look like. Then I used artificial intelligence to age photos from a young age and modified the images using Photoshop to make them look better and more realistic.

The hardest part of this project was making the photos look natural and look like the celebrities. Artificial intelligence still has a lot of flaws, so I had to rework them with Photoshop. I take the time to style and make up celebrities in different ways. To portray what stars might look like today and find what works, I have to invest a lot of time in my projects.

I think that in moderation, plastic surgery can help. When people don’t like something about the way they look, it doesn’t hurt anyone to change that look. Or, when people get injured or have accidents, plastic surgery is a great tool to help them regain their old appearance. However, when people use plastic surgery excessively, it can be very harmful to the person having the procedure.

These days, a lot of people want to look like the filters found in apps. No wrinkles, no stretch marks, it seems like all the “unsightly” things about our body should never be shown. It is really sad to see this. We are all human beings and no one is perfect. We should accept that the marks on our body and the imperfections are what make us unique and beautiful.
