It is a page of history that is turned at the Ballon d’Alsace. By October 30, the five buildings on the Sapins site (Bruyères, Clarines, Myrtilles, Musardière and Campanules) will have permanently disappeared from the decor.
They had made the beautiful days of several thousand children benefiting from the stays set up by the works councils of Bull, Alstom or Peugeot between the sixties and the nineties. The first part of a vast project to renew the tourist offer at the top will thus be completed.
The site of some seven hectares had been purchased to the interdepartmental mixed union of the Ballon d’Alsace (Smiba) by the Departmental Council of the Territory of Belfort (CD 90) in 2018.
