The Committee of Adjunct Professors in Vocational and Technical Education in Lebanon held a meeting with representatives of institutes and technical schools via the “Zoom” application, to discuss the conditions in Vocational and Technical Education, especially “the cessation of continuous training from the date of 12/5/2022”, and this has been evaluated In this phase, the claims relating to the rights of contract professors have been underlined, and a vote has been taken on whether or not to continue the strike, and the majority is was “with the continuation of the strike”.
The commission affirmed the position stated in its previous statements in terms of “continuing the strike until demands are obtained that preserve the rights of contract teachers”. year and to preserve the formal education sector in general and vocational and technical education in general.
The committee offered “from all fellow teachers the warmest congratulations and greetings on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year”, hoping “from Almighty God that the new year will bring about a turning point for formal education in Lebanon”.
