Wuppertal Traveling with the saver ticket can begin on June 1st. All interesting connections and sights at a glance.

Since Monday, May 23, Wuppertaler Stadtwerke has been selling the 9-euro ticket: at ticket machines, on the bus, in the MobiCenter and in the WSW Ticket app on mobile phones. It is valid from June to August for one month – throughout Germany in the second class of local and regional transport.

With these conditions, the ticket is not only worthwhile within Wuppertal, a normal single ticket costs three euros, but also for day trips or even going on vacation. How to find connections for which the 9 euro ticket is valid? In the Deutsche Bahn travel information (reiseauskunft.bahn.de) or in the DB Navigator mobile app, simply select the option “Local and regional transport only”.

As an example, we have selected connections on Saturday, June 4th, with a departure after 9 a.m. from Wuppertal Central Station. Times may vary on other days. The aim was to find connections with as few changes as possible and the shortest possible travel time.
