Head physician of the Moscow hospital in Kommunarka Denis Protsenko denied information that near the hospital, passers-by found packages for transporting corpses with medical records.
Information about this previously appeared on the web. Eyewitnesses published photos of black packages allegedly containing medical records, documentation for deceased patients, dead body tags, and other medical waste.
On his Facebook page, Protsenko wrote that packages for transporting the bodies of the dead were found a kilometer from the hospital. “Reports that patients’ medical records were also found are untrue,” he said.
He also emphasized that the whole procedure for issuing bodies is strictly regulated by law. Now the police are figuring out how packages got outside the hospital. All information was transferred to law enforcement.
The hospital in Kommunarka, headed by Denis Protsenko, is one of the treatment centers coronavirus infection.
