During the appointment the feature film Nosferatu will be screened by the German conductor Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, accompanied live by the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica (OSNCR) and the Spanish accordionist Iñaki Alberdi. Under the direction of maestro José María Sánchez-Verdú, the music created by himself and inspired by this 1922 film will be performed live, adding a unique experience to the classic film.

The film is considered a work of art of expressionist cinema and one of the first full-length horror films in history.

The film tells the story of Count Orlok, a vampire who moves to a small town in Germany, spreading terror among the inhabitants.

“I’m going to perform the solo part of the concert. The work is called Nosferatu and is based on Murnau’s film, which is about a fantastic character that is Dracula. Specifically, the accordion represents that vampire and every time the vampire appears on the screen, the accordion will be present,” Alberdi explained.
