With more than 32 thousand attendees, Recrea Land 2022 activities conclude

With the participation of more than 32,000 people from 120 municipalities in the state, this day the activities of Recrea Land end, a land in charge of the State Secretary of Education (SE) where the educational recreation of teachers, education students and their families, through attractive, complementary and specialized content around 7 thematic axes: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, Jobs of the Future and Chess, through workshops, conferences, experiences, games and other activities.

On behalf of the Secretary of Education in the entity, Juan Carlos Flores Miramontes, the general director of Strategic Programs of the SE, Nadia Soto Chávez pointed out that it is through these types of events that we can detect and promote the talents of girls, boys , adolescents and young people who will become the great businessmen, rulers and strategists of tomorrow.

“During the four days that we had the event, we had a total of 32,128 participants, which represents an average of 6,941 attendees per day and we were able to have the participation of 120 municipalities in the state. This makes us see that precisely combining fun with learning in the little ones, from preschool to secondary school, including some high school participants, is success for future generations.”

Among the activities carried out at Recrea Land, Soto Chávez highlighted the final of the Jalisco State Mathematics League Tournament (LIMATEJ); the Elite Mathematics competition and the State Chess Tournament, where the winners were recognized after their hard work throughout the school year, because to participate they passed school, zone and regional stages.

He also mentioned that contests were held for spelling bee and reading comprehension under highly innovative dynamics; virtual reality activities and caring for the environment in the garden workshop and the Michin Aquarium pavilion.

Finally, he thanked the strategic allies who enriched Recrea Land and the more than forty speakers that graced the main stage.
