The Ministry of Public Health, led by Ricardo Cardozo, through the Teaching and Research Directorate, in coordination with the Systems Directorate and the Provincial Breast Cancer Prevention Network, began the training and updating course on Breast Cancer. Mother.
The first class was held today in person in the auditorium of the Hospital de Campaña Escuela Hogar, with a dissertation by Dr. Macarena Nasello, a member of the National Breast Cancer Prevention Network. The following will alternate between the educational platform of the Ministry of Public Health and meetings at the Hospital Escuela Gral. José de San Martín.
These trainings are intended for oncologists, mastologists, gynecologists, generalists and/or family doctors, obstetricians and nursing staff. They comprise 14 classes, one per week.
The director of Teaching and Research, Giuseppe Badaracco, specified that “we have been working with the Provincial Breast Cancer Network for months in terms of programming, logistics and coordination. This is the second cohort we have carried out, last year it was inaugurated in virtual way the first edition of this course, and there were many topics requested by the same participants, added to the updates that science permanently makes possible, we thought of a second edition with a more complete program than last year”.
And he added: “we have a staff of specially invited teachers who are from the National Breast Cancer Prevention Network and the Nation’s Family Cancer Prevention Network, who are going to teach classes together with their provincial peers.”
He explained that “they comprise 14 classes, one per week. The next ones are on August 11 and 18, virtually, the next ones are in person on August 25 from 2 to 5 in the auditorium of the Hospital Escuela. It will be in charge of the doctor Sara Perrault, and the subject is Interpretation of mammograms”.
The opening of the day was attended by the Undersecretary of Health Management, Silvina Vega Bajo; the general director of Epidemiology, Angelina Bobadilla; the coordinator of the Provincial Breast Cancer Network, Karina Maidana, the Minister’s private secretary, Eugenia Roma and Macarena Nasello, a member of the National Breast Cancer Prevention Network.
