The Regional Women’s Band Women of the Flowery Wind will be presented with My Laferte at Lincoln Center in NY, next February 19.
For this presentation, 20 musicians will travel under the baton of their director, the teacher Leticia Gallardo from Santa María Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca, where the group has its headquarters.
In an interview for EL UNIVERSAL, director Leticia expressed that “women have the opportunity to perform in a different country and an emblematic place fills us with emotion, pride, sharing Oaxacan music with a singer like Mon.”
