There is no deadline that is not met and this Tuesday Twitter has put an end to the fleets, the “stories” that had little success on the social network when considering a copy of the stories of Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.
It was just nine months ago when Twitter launched this resource in the hope of giving its users more interactivity.
The fleets could include images, videos and emojis, they are and sought to attract users who wanted to avoid making permanent comments, thus copying a model that rival networks of the blue bird have implemented for several years.
However, not all users were satisfied with the new function as they claimed first that the network that only consisted of adding a short message of less than 140 words now wants to be like the others.
“We were hoping that Fleets would help more people feel comfortable joining the conversation on Twitter. But, since we introduced Fleets to the whole world, we have not seen an increase in the number of new people joining the conversation ”, regretted Twitter when announcing that they would remove this tool.

Before they disappeared 100%, Twitter users also began to “fire” this feature by uploading many nudes, which also sparked memes.
