With Jonell Pelie, the unicorns continue to strengthen on the defensive

The Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns defense announces another new signing for the upcoming season. With Jonell Pelie, a linebacker with international experience joins the footballers, who can also look back on several stations in Germany.

With 27-year-old Jonell Pelie, the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns have signed another building block for their defense for the 2023 season. The experienced defender started playing football in 2012 when he was a youth member of the traditional club London Blitz, and played for the club in the top British league and was called up to the UK national team in 2016. From a sporting point of view, Pelie then entered mainland Europe for the first time in 2017 and played for the Allgäu Comets in the GFL until 2021.

After appearing in the ELF for the Cologne Centurions last year, the goal of the 1.76 meter defensive player, which he wants to achieve by moving to Hall, is clear for this season: “I want to become a better player and at least make the playoffs with my team. The Unicorns offer a great organization with good structures for players in Europe.”said the British international.
