Lindenberg wind farm: Hitzkirch is another municipality that wants to see money
While the Freiamt municipality of Beinwil has negotiated a financial boost, the Lucerne side is left empty-handed. An objection is intended to put pressure on the matter.
Two of the three wind turbines are visible from this location in Beinwil.

Hitzkirch questions wind measurements
Not only Hitzkirch, but also the Pro Lindenberg association, which opposes the wind turbines, other institutions and individuals have submitted objections. This was confirmed by Pro Lindenberg President Heiri Knaus when asked. He did not wish to comment further due to the ongoing proceedings. Information will be provided after the deadline has passed.
Planning of the Lucerne wind turbine is on hold for the time being
Does the canton or the municipality decide?
What about the Hitzkirch community’s financial participation in the revenue from the Müswangen wind turbine? This has not yet been discussed with the local council, says Birrer. However, all interested parties are welcome to participate in the plant, including the community. When the project was presented in December 2007, it was already emphasized that it should be a community wind turbine, with the added value remaining in the region.
