The Major League Rugby from USA saw action for the second time this year. Date two had large participations from the Argentines, although not many were able to celebrate a triumph.
NOLA Gold, a team played by Julián Domínguez and Juan Cappiello stomps in the tournament. He won again, this time 51-27 against Rugby United of NY which featured the participation and a try of Benjamin Bonasso, formerly Newman.
Rugby Atlanta, with Bautista Ezcurra as the starter, he could not celebrate on the second day and add another victory. The cast of the former Hindu fell to Old Glory by 30-23.
Another who did not achieve his second consecutive win was Houston Sabercats. Matías Freyre’s team suffered a tough 32-0 defeat against Free Jacks.
The one who has not yet stepped into the MLR is Toronto Arrows. The Canadian team that had Cortés, De la Vega and Tuculet as starters, plus Montero entering from the substitute bench lost again, this time 39-24 to Utah Warriors. In the Arrows he supported Uruguayan Manuel Diana.
Santiago González Iglesias played the 80 minutes in the great victory of San Diego Legion versus Austin as a visitor. The former Alumni had a good turnout in the 14-11 winning try.
