In the elections for mayors and municipal councilors in October, people who have address registration at a permanent and current address only in Bulgaria 6 months before the date of the elections will be able to vote. Bulgarians who have a current address in Germany, Turkey or another country will not be able to elect representatives for the local government. People who want to vote at their current address must declare it 14 days before the election date, explained the Central Election Commission.
