With early voting in full swing, Harris and Trump are tied in the polls. Details-Israel News

Early voting has begun in the United States for the presidential election. It will take place in a total of 47 states, including the District of Columbia. In-person absentee ballot voting opened in Florida on Monday and will begin in Wisconsin on Tuesday. Early voting typically opens two weeks before Election Day and runs until November 3.

The state of Georgia reported record turnout on the first day of early voting last week.

Alabama, Mississippi and New Hampshire remain the only states that do not offer early voting; Voting by mail also requires a valid reason.

Ahead of a tight Nov. 5 presidential election, candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are neck and neck in seven swing states across the country that could swing in favor of either candidate, according to the latest poll of voters released by The Washington Post.

About 47 percent of registered voters said they would “definitely” or “probably” vote for Harris, the poll found. Forty-seven percent said the same about Trump.

The Washington Post poll, conducted in the first weeks of October, surveyed more than 5,000 registered voters, a sizable sample, and examined a large group of unregistered voters who are not committed to any candidate.

Meanwhile, candidates continue their election campaign. On Sunday, Trump handed out French fries at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania while Harris celebrated her 60th birthday at a church in Georgia.
