Spending time with both parents is important for children. Various studies show this. With the new ideas from Ravensburger, playing is guaranteed to be fun for fathers too: young and old can travel to the Star Wars universe using the GraviTrax marble run, and the BRIO will take them to the world of dinosaurs.
Playing, reading and cuddling: family time is important to most parents. On average, mothers spend 5.9 hours per weekday with their children. And the fathers are following suit: while in 1993 they were only there for the offspring for 1.9 hours, it is now three hours per weekday, like that Fathers’ report from the federal government shows. And many fathers want even more time together. Around half would like to share care equally with their partner. Family hours become great fun with the new game ideas from Ravensburger and BRIO. Even dad doesn’t want to leave the children’s room anymore.
GraviTrax, the innovative marble run system from Ravensburger, offers almost endless possibilities for inventors. Together with dad, children aged eight and over build creative routes or fast-paced loops – and learn something about physics at the same time. Recently, the orbits have also been winding through distant galaxies. With the GraviTrax Star Wars action set “Death Star”, fans big and small can relive the battles between good and evil. New tracks can be constructed from over 190 elements and components. Even little GraviTraxers aged three and over can immerse themselves in fantastic worlds: the expansions for Elsa, the Frozen and the Lion King promise majestic fun. The elements of the junior marble run are made exclusively of bio-based plastic and wood fibers, which makes the components and playing figures particularly pleasant to the touch.
It goes back to prehistoric times with BRIO: In the new “Dinosaurs” themed world, a volcano glows and steams right next to the rails. The Tyrannosaurus Rex grabs a wagon and the nimble Pteranodon effortlessly transports cargo through the air. The various sets and trains can also be combined with all other products from the BRIO World and turn the living room carpet into a primeval train landscape. Dad’s old model train is nothing compared to this!
In the interactive tiptoi® game with PAW Patrol, children are called upon to save lives: whether on water, in the air or on land – fans aged four and over experience exciting missions together with the heroes on four paws. Depending on the task, they put together suitable teams and help Marshall, Chase and Co. in their missions. Before children and dogs swarm out, dad can set up the 3D operations center.
