Grünberg (ld). With a total of six events, the Senior Citizens’ Council of the City of Grünberg has a varied program for all of the city’s senior citizens for the second half of 2024.
It starts on August 16th with the senior cinema. The film “It’s the little things” will be shown in the Grünberger cinema on Bismarckstrasse. No prior registration is required for the screening, which begins at 2:30 p.m.
There will be an informative day trip on Tuesday, September 3rd, with a visit to the weather park in Offenbach. In addition to a guided tour, a boat trip on the River Main in Frankfurt is also scheduled for the afternoon.
Another trip on October 23rd will be more of a culinary affair. In Metzlos, a visit to the “Vulkan Liquor and Jelly Factory” will give everyone a taste of the delicacies produced by Katja Wittmann.
A free lecture on Wednesday, October 30th, starting at 2 p.m., will focus on “road safety.” After a driving instructor’s presentation, coffee and cake can be enjoyed in a convivial atmosphere in the Lehnheim village community center.
Another cinema screening, the film of which will be announced in due course, will take place on Friday, November 8th at 2.30 p.m. in the Grünberger cinema.
Traditionally, the year will end with the big Christmas party on Sunday, December 1st, at 2 p.m. in the Gallushalle Grünberg.
