Corinthians vs Fortaleza: With André Carrillo as a starter, the ‘timao’ thrashed the ‘tricolor’ 3-0 at the Neo Química Arena stadium in Sao Paulo and qualified for the semifinals of the 2024 Copa Sudamericana, with an aggregate score of 5-0 due to their 2-0 victory in the first leg.

After a first half without much excitement, Ramón Díaz’s team came out with everything after the break and won with goals from Ángel Romero, Igor Coronado and Pedro Henrique. The ‘Culebra’ played until the 75th minute, played a good match and left to applause.

The next opponent for the São Paulo team will be the winner of the match between Racing Club and Athletico Paranaense, who will face each other this Thursday, September 26 at the Cilindro de Avellaneda. The Brazilians have a 1-0 advantage after the result of the first leg.
