“Ahojky” – in Czech, a trivialization of the greeting “Ahoj” which is also known in Germany, is a new series of events organized by the Centrum Bavaria Bohemia for German and Czech children aged 4 – 8, which aims to to teach children German in a playful way and to approach the Czech language. The event will be led by certified museum educator and linguistic animator Zuzana Verešová. Each event has a new motto such as “autumn”, “crafts”, “Christmas”, etc. Games, fun, excitement and movement are pre-programmed in “Ahojky”.
The event, financially supported by the German-Czech Fund for the Future and the Schwandorf district, takes place every third Monday from 16:30 to 17:30 in the Centrum Bavaria Bohemia. Interested parents can obtain information from Centrum Bavaria Bohemia and register for individual dates. Please register by email at [email protected]. The first event will take place on Monday 19 September 2022 and has the motto “Getting to know each other”.
