With a passion for genealogy, he traces local history “in the age of the dinosaurs”

Marc Thomassin is proud to present his exhibition “In the Time of Dinosaurs” at the church of Notre-Dame-De-Brevoines, where he is the president of the association dedicated to the latter.

Ammonites, corals, fish: several fossils, dating back to 190 million years to 170 million years BC, were presented before the surprised eyes of families who came to discover a part of local history. A story that allows us to talk at the same time on a large scale: how the Alps and the Jura were created that disturbed the soils of Haut-Marne with earthquakes, how soil erosion worked or even the different types of animals and plants present 180 million years ago. Passion that Marc Thomassin showed with enthusiasm and joy during this Christmas day “Brevoines celebrate” !
