Al-Marsad newspaper: The “Meed” website revealed that the Public Investment Fund intends to build the world’s tallest tower with a height of 2 km over an area of 18 square km north of Riyadh.
The contractors said the construction cost of this tower was $5 billion, equivalent to 18.75 billion Saudi riyals, stressing that it would be twice the height of the Burj Khalifa, which reaches a height of 828 meters in Dubai.
The specific location of the project is planned to be in the area west of King Khalid International Airport and a comparison is currently underway between 8 companies to choose the best one to carry out the project.
