The English newspaper The Sun publishes that Dávinson Sánchez is one of the candidates to strengthen the defense of the Italian team. His last Premier game with Tottenham was on October 18.
The Colombian lost his place in leader Tottenham’s starter after an own goal in a 3-3 draw against West Ham for the fifth date of English football. It was the last time he played with Mourinho and he ended up relegated to the UEFA Europa League.
With 360 minutes in the four games he played this season, he could go to AC Milan, the pointer of Italian football. The Sun points out that Sánchez is among the candidates to reinforce the red and black team.
“It is one of his options. Mourinho could endorse that exit if it provides him funds to help his own attempts to lead Tottenham to the title this season. And although he initially impressed, he has struggled to gain the manager’s trust.”
The Colombian joined the London team in 2017 for 42 million euros. That season was the one in which he played the most. He was in 31 games directed by Mauricio Pochettino.
