The Lucid Air was first announced in 2017 when its initial version was shown at the Las Vegas Electronic Products Show.
Lucid Motors is seeking to compete with the famous Tesla company in the field of environmentally friendly electric cars, as Lucid Motors’ chief technology officer, Peter Rollinson – who worked on developing the Tesla Model S – said in an earlier interview with CNN. There will be a major shift to electrical transmission, he said, adding that the electric car market is still intangible, and that Tesla actually has no competitor in the current market.
The price of the new car, which aspires to compete with “Tesla” cars, will start from 60,000 dollars, or about 225,000 Saudi riyals, but the price of modified models may exceed 100 thousand dollars.
