Xiaomi Mix Flip – a record clamshell
Flip phones are nothing new, not even on the Czech market. The Korean Samsung offers several generations of its Z Flips here, and Motorola also joined shortly after with the Razr phones. Huawei, Oppo and Blackview also had their attempts. Xiaomi also wants to contribute a bit to the mill, which is finally bringing one of its jigsaws to Europe.
However, in the field of clamshell phones, Xiaomi has pulled out. It offers the sharpest outdoor display of all. The external screen has a diagonal of 4″ and a resolution of 1,392 × 1,208 pixels, which in the end represents a wonderful finesse of 460 pixels per inch. Compared to Samsung and Motorola, Xiaomi also offers the highest luminance of an outdoor display, namely 3,000 nits.
Of all clamshell competitors, the Xiaomi Mix Flip also has the largest battery. We are talking about a capacity of 4,780 mAh, which, when looking at the specific folding design, is a truly record-breaking battery size. And the 67W charging is also worth mentioning.
Price and availability
Xiaomi Mix Flip enters the Czech market straight away. It has been sold in China since July of this year and entered the market there with a price of less than 6,000 yuan, i.e. about 24,000 crowns including tax. But be careful, the official price of the Xiaomi Mix Flip in the Czech Republic is significantly higher.
According to official information, it will be sold for 31,999 crowns including VAT, we are talking about the 12/512 variant. It will be 2,500 crowns cheaper in the sale until mid-October. Even so, the price is significantly higher than on the home market in China, but also in India, where it costs a few thousand less.
