As part of the “Wissensabend” series of events, Dr. Bettina Schmalzbauer as a speaker at the BUGA friends. Miss Dr. Schmalzbauer is head of the city’s climate protection department and in her presentation impressively presented the climate protection measures of the city of Heilbronn.
She concentrated on the points: what do we all already know, what is the city of Heilbronn doing specifically and how can the goals set be achieved. It is clear that there is no single remedy, but that it is always a question of a bundle of measures that can be tailored to the individual needs of citizens. It is also clear that society must be taken along, this is the only way to ensure acceptance so that the change can succeed.
