The Lebanese artist, Wissam Hanna, announced his participation in the second season of the Syrian series “Voice” (written by Zuhair Al-Mulla and directed by Amir Namo), which he finished filming a few days ago.
Hanna Tayzir published the work on his social media pages, which brought him together with a group of Syrian actors.
In this context, private sources told “Fuchsia” that Wissam Hanna and his compatriot Pierre Dagher were the only Lebanese actors who participated in the second season of the “Voice” series, which was filmed in Damascus recently.
The sources added that the first season of the show, which starred Nadine Al-Rassi and Syrian actor Milad Youssef, was exposed to several problems. Although filming ended in February 2023, Lebanese actress Nadine Al-Rassi later announced her withdrawal from it.
That day, Nadine stated to the “Anonymous” program, which is shown on the Lebanese “LBCI” channel, that she was unable to complete filming the project due to the bad situation in Syria. She explained that the company used the excuse of the absence of many necessary supplies, according to her statements.
On the other hand, the sources indicated that director Amir Namo finished filming “Voice” about two weeks ago, and singer Reda Badge recorded the series and will have a special appearance in the Syrian work, and he will soon reveal the platform that will show it. It is not known whether the project will be within the Ramadan 2024 map or outside it.
On the same side, sources told “Fuchsia” that Pierre Dagher had agreed with the production company on the third season of “Voice”, but the date for filming it had not yet been set.
It is noteworthy that the series “Voice” consists of 10 episodes, and the first part revolves around a girl suffering from bipolar disorder and her struggle in life.
A group of actors participated in the series, including: Milad Youssef, Adnan Abu Al-Shamat, Robin Issa, Wael Zidan and others.
