Before leaving for Niepołomice, we talked to several people from Wisła Kraków, also from the coaching staff. Everyone predicted exactly what would happen to the “White Star” in the clash with the Forest. The rival’s way of playing, the match’s envelope, the condition of the pitch, which – let’s be honest – was dramatic for the conditions of the first league. This match looked in the vast majority of aspects exactly as predicted at Reymont. It’s just that the Vistulans knew, but they didn’t adapt to the conditions. And it’s really hard to blame the rival from Wisła’s perspective that he is doing his best to make the conditions favorable to him when playing at home. Because with Niepołomice, it’s a bit like paraphrasing a saying about cold football evenings in Stoke… You have to survive it, you have to adapt.
