When Wisin arrived, his face was … She was totally impressed, as were her husband and their children. He was really nice. We lower the purchase. Wisin promised them to buy other additional things, just like the neighbors. It was very nice, ”added the promoter with great emotion.

The visit to Cidra was documented by López in a story on his Instagram account (pacolopezpr), in which he shared a photo featuring Wisin, López, Gabriela and their daughter and son.

In the picture, López wrote the following: “Today we went to the Honduras neighborhood in Cidra to shake hands with Gabriela, who thanks to El Nuevo Día I discovered her story. She lost it all with #Fiona. Don’t wait for the government, take to the streets. United as a people, we will rise again “.

The producer said that as soon as he read Gabriela’s story The new day, he made arrangements to pick up his phone. Once he was able to communicate with the woman, he managed the visit.

Gabriela’s case has affected many people. The female is the mother of two minors, one of whom is disabled, and was forced to run with her children when the flooding of the La Plata river swept away everything around her, including her home.

“The water got here (the first floor of the house), it covered my whole car. We had to climb over there (the hill behind the house) because my children were desperate”Said Gabriela in an interview with this medium.

“This was… well, the washing machines were going down, there was power, we couldn’t open the door. He was quite desperate. So we went up there (pointing to the hill) and I was thinking about it, because I have a disabled child and he doesn’t accompany me. And I was like, ‘Wow, my God, how can I? But my girlfriend told me: ‘Mom, we have to save ourselves’ “, added the woman.

This narrative was the one that moved the artist and the producer. Indeed, López was shocked to see that other people find themselves in the same condition as Gabriela.

“Gabriella’s story moved me, but when we got there, we saw that even the neighbors lost everything. There was an old lady who had lost everything. She had the mattress and the bed outside, the furniture… Everything, ”she recalled.
