Wishes on International Firefighters’ Day on May 4

On the occasion of our holiday, Firefighter’s Day, we receive wishes for all firefighting brothers. Thank you very much for all your kind words on behalf of all firefighters! The management staff of the local unit sent special wishes to all firefighters from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. We present their content below.
On the occasion of Firefighter’s Day, we would like to express our warmest wishes to all officers and civilian employees of the State Fire Service and the Volunteer Fire Departments.
We wish you a lot of health and care from our patron saint – Saint Florian. May belonging to the firefighting family always be a source of pride and satisfaction for you.
This year’s celebration of our holiday falls a few days after the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the European Union. This event was a breakthrough in the history of our homeland. Fire protection has become a significant beneficiary of Poland’s accession to the European community. Since May 1, 2004, the modernization of both the State Fire Service and the Volunteer Fire Brigades has made the National Rescue and Firefighting System a world leader among rescue formations. This is proven by effective rescue operations, both domestic and international, undertaken by Polish firefighters.
Firefighter’s Day is an annual opportunity to appreciate your efforts and dedication in serving your country and your neighbors. It is also an excellent opportunity to thank all the families of firefighters for their understanding and patience when personal plans are interrupted by the sound of the alarm siren.
