According to the portal wirtualnemedia.pl, the French Iliad Group, since last autumn. the owner of the Play telecommunications network, made an offer to the Liberty Global group to buy 100 percent. shares of UPC Polska. The offer is non-binding and is valued at PLN 7.3 billion.
This information appeared on Friday before the opening of the stock exchange. During the day, the shares of one of the potential main competitors, Orange, fell (from PLN 7.53 to PLN 7.29), but at the closing they amounted to PLN 7.66. Cyfrowy Polsat shares increased from PLN 33 to PLN 34.16.
