Poczta Polska could have cost nearly a million zlotys to store election packages for elections that did not take place. According to WP informers, the packages were taken from a warehouse in Łódź, which was discovered by the media in 2020. The place of their storage is the biggest secret of the company.
In mid-April 2020, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki signed the decision to print almost 30 million ballots for the presidential election. This task was entrusted to the Polish Security Printing Works and the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. The Polish Post was to deal with the organization of postal elections.
Ultimately, the vote did not take place on May 10. Marshal of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek ordered new elections, with a vote scheduled for June 28. The Polish Post was left with millions of election packages.

In July 2020, the media reported that the cards are stored in the logistics warehouse at Święta Teresa Street in Łódź. The journalist of “Gazeta Wyborcza”, Wojciech Czuchnowski, even managed to enter the hall where pallets with parcels were standing. According to WP informants, at the end of the year, Poczta Polska left the warehouse at Święta Teresy Street.
