Wired magazine accused Hogwarts Legacy of anti-Semitism

For a while now, a certain part of the press has been critical of Hogwarts Legacy. But not because of the technical side, or how the gameplay itself is. According to them, these are not the primary stumbling blocks. The main issue for the series is JK Rowling and her views on the transgender community. Gaming magazine Wired he took it so far as to directly attack the game as part of his review. Its editor Jaina Gray dislikes almost everything the title contains, which is said to have helped her leave the universe full of charms and magic. And what does she not like? According to her, the characters are robotic, the whole deviates from the book template and, above all, seems outdated. She gave the game a rating of 1/10.

The imaginary icing on the cake is presenting the story of Hogwarts Legacy as something that is outright laced with anti-Semitism, which is complete nonsense given the foundations on which this universe is built. At least we don’t like the idea of presenting the plot as a revolt against slavery, the author of the text simply wanted to make herself visible and support her “controversial” opinion. By the way, her previous reviews were mostly not about video games, but about sex toys.

The creation of the editor of Wired magazine is the only such harsh review. However, it cannot be said that the whole world has received Hogwarts Legacy positively. As it shows for example Metacritic there were a few other creators who didn’t like the game at all, but most didn’t actively present their hatred towards the wizarding universe and its creator in their texts. As you can see in our review, in our opinion it was a wish come true for fans of the template.
