Wiranto Expresses Feelings on Leaving Hanura Party: “I Let the Ship Go”

Jakarta

Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) Wiranto had time to convey his feelings out of Hanura Party while giving a speech at the DPP PPP. He said he had been the captain of a warship but was forced to leave him.

“I myself used to be the captain of a warship. But for one reason or another, where the navigation did not go according to what I expected, I was forced to let go of the warship, even though it was pretty good,” said Wiranto during his remarks at the PPP DPP, Jakarta, Monday ( 1/5/2023).

Wiranto said he chose to pray for the Hanura Party. He hoped that the warship he released could safely reach his destination.

“I let it go and I choose to pray that the ship that I released will safely reach its destination,” he said.

That’s why, Wiranto said that he currently has no relationship whatsoever with Hanura. However, according to him the party can not be forgotten just like that.

“It’s just that of course it can’t be erased because it has been recorded in history that I was the one who built and raised the ship. At least that’s it. But of course there are a lot of my friends, my colleagues, who are currently also still with me waiting to go to where is this?” he said.

“Because the enthusiasm is there, the quality is there, the sincerity is there, the determination is there, but we still don’t know where to go to convey our political aspirations,” he continued.
