Winterthur wins spectacle against Schlieren – Oerlikon loses

Second game of the season – second spectacle in the game of FC Winterthur. In the first game of the season – the Winterthur team lost 3:4 in Yverdon – in the first home game they won 4:3 in a duel between two Zurich clubs. The match winner is Sonja Beer, who scored the winning goal in the 90th minute after Gisler and Rochat had equalized a 3:1 deficit for Schlieren.

The third Zurich club – FC Oerlikon/Polizei – had to admit defeat to Etoile Carouge 1:2 after leading 1:0. Peverelli and Bonanno turned the game around in the last 20 minutes. Pedrazzini scored the opening goal for the promoted team from a penalty.

Second goalless draw in the second home game for FC Wil. The point win against FC Sion is probably more satisfying than the 0:0 draw against FC Oerlikon/Polizei a week ago.

Defeat also for the second promoted team, FC Lugano. The Ticino team had to forfeit the first game because there were not enough players. Now the young team, which is being coached by Fransioli – from Gambarogno – had to admit defeat to FC Solothurn with 3:1. The match winner for FC Solothurn was Yolanda Von Rotz, who scored a brace.

FC Küssnacht a/R has landed back on the ground. After the opening victory at FC Solothurn, the team of new coach Adrian Koch had to learn that the trees do not grow to the sky. Yverdon was clearly better and returned to Vaud with a 5-0 victory. This means that after 2 match days, Yverdon is the only team that has not lost a point. After the withdrawal of the FC Zurich youth team, the NLB seems to be more balanced than ever.
