“As a child I hung a poster of Van Gogh in my room”

“From a frog with poppies to a jumping devil with a feather that jumps out of the box when you open the lid. I see all of this in Dorina Wohlgemuth’s picture. Because of this and because it is very colorful, it appealed to me immediately. The picture was part of a preselection from the municipal collection that I had put together.
For me it has a lot of wit and humor. The figure shows the direction with its trowels. The picture looks very dynamic to me and poppy is also my favorite flower.
The work of art is right at the entrance to my office. I see it every time I walk into the office. But it is not as if I would sit contemplatively in front of it for a quarter of an hour at a time.
