Winter storm in Mexico: When it arrives and which states it affects

In the next few hours, Mexico will be receiving the first winter storm of the season. This was shared by National Water Commission (Conagua) through its well-known weather forecast in Mexico. And the week of November 20 to 26 we will be going through the effects of the cold front 11 in Mexico.

In the states of Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas and Tabasco, Michoacán, Guerrero and Campeche, there will be a high probability of intense rain, as well as in areas of the west and center of the country. • Sierras of Sonora, Chihuahua and Durango: Minimum temperatures of -10 to -5 °C with frost.
• Sierras of Baja California, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas, Sinaloa, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Guanajuato, State of Mexico, Hidalgo and Puebla: Minimum temperatures of -5 to 0 °C with frost:
• Sierras of Michoacán, Morelos, Mexico City, Querétaro, Veracruz and Oaxaca: Minimum temperatures of 0 to 5 °C.

Finally, by the end of the year, Conagua estimated that There will be about 51 to 55 cold fronts from September to May 2024while the National Meteorological Service assured that the states most affected by this would be:
