A single-vehicle accident occurred on the Groningerweg (N372) near Peize, in which a car crashed into a tree. Emergency services are on site en masse, the road has been closed. Nothing is known about the cause of the accident. The driver was trapped for some time, but was then freed by the fire brigade. White screens were placed around the vehicle during the rescue. The woman has been taken to hospital.
