Badminton athletes Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu received many bonuses after successfully winning a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. In addition to receiving a bonus of Rp. 5 billion from the government, Greysia/Apriyani also received a series of bonuses from the private sector.
One of the bonuses they get is a house in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area. Agung Sedayu Group presented the two badminton athletes with a house to live in the PIK2 area.
“An extraordinary news from the Tokyo Olympics, the women’s doubles of Indonesian badminton athletes, Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu, won Indonesia’s first gold medal after beating Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan 21-19 and 21-15 at Musashino Forest Sport Plaza, Tokyo, Monday ( 2/8),” wrote the company via Instagram @agungsedayugroupoffical.
“It’s an extraordinary struggle in the midst of a global pandemic situation that has hit the whole world,” he continued.
The company explained that Greysia/Apriyani will each receive 1 unit of housing at PIK2, which is located close to Soekarno Hatta Airport.
“Hopefully this award can further spur the enthusiasm of national athletes to continue working to make the name of the Indonesian nation and state proud,” the company wrote.
