Neil Trotter, a British mechanic, made many people’s dreams come true in 2014. That year he became a millionaire by winning more than € 120 million in EuroMillions.
A lifelong motor racing enthusiast, he traded his Ford Focus for a Jaguar and a Porsche. He also buys a mansion with its own lake located on a plot of over 160 hectares.
A life of dreams and luxury. Except, quickly, the English begins … to get bored. “Going from work to not having to work anymore was a rather strange thing to adapt to. I soon found that sitting at home and watching TV all day was pretty boring.”
However, he still considers himself very lucky and is aware that many would dream of leading the life he leads. “Winning allowed me to return to my first love: racing. And I have a house with a lake,” he admits.
